Just found out Alex Michaelides is a man, and that unfortunately explains so much about the interactions of women in this book. I just think if a girl was murdered on campus, I would be traveling everywhere with a group of women, but in this world, the protag INSISTS her niece just goes to class?? Yeah right. If my nieces bestie was murdered, we'd be withdrawn from classes for that semester, yesterday!
