Not sure if I like the male lead a lot yet but he isn’t bad just annoying at times

I’m hoping this is at least a 4 star read and that it gets me out of my book slump

So is Kai going to be the love interest or not.. and I’m actually so confused on why she is so against marrying him even tho she does like him.. I feel like she’s just self sabotaging for no reason

Tried listening to the audiobook too but I just can’t get into this it’s so boring to me and I just don’t like the main character at all. The journal entry’s aren’t even funny or interesting. DNF 26 pages in!!!!
