Ughh the romance was soo disappointing

Honestly loving this book so far it’s cozy and every character is written so well. I can deff sense that this is going to be a slow burn… BUT their friendship is starting to blossom even more so that’s exciting

Bro I was actually starting to like this book until I read “Tommy used ChatGPT just for me” WHY IS THE AUTHOR DOING THIS STOPP STOP SOTP

Am I in a book slump or am I not feeling a connection with these two… it genuinely feels like I’m reading words on paper and that isn’t a good sign that I’m enjoying this.

I already know this is going to be good ugh so excited

OK DNFING maybe I’ll get back to it another time but I’m not like very interested I think I’d love it way more if I connected to the characters but I don’t. I saw a review about someone saying they never truly got to know the characters so I’m clearly not the only one feeling this way…

Idk if I’m liking this it started to get good and now it’s slow again and I’m just not feeling connected to the characters.

So I only read one chapter but after that sentence I just knewwww I wasn’t gonna like this book. Maybe I’m judging too soon but idc. I also went to check the bad reviews and one of them said that “she let the baby choose its own gender” girl bye I’m not wasting time on this book DNFING only so I can look back at my activity and never pick this up again.

“I pick up a falafel sandwich from a halal cart outside it will stink up the office but it’s better than sending Micah to the ER” girl bye this is such a weird sentence to me. I might DNF JUST BC OF THIS SENTENCE JTSELF

I don’t even think I like the pregnancy trope but if it’s written right maybe I can get with it.

This is like slow paced but I’m not mad at it. Why is this kind of reminding me of u see the oak tree so far. The whole magic and helping heal people part and the man going to war. I’m hoping for some romance to happen soon
