I’m in a horror kick as of late

a rare form in which there’s a sick/caretaking scene that’s actually adorably done & I can tolerate it, everybody clap!

I’m only 8ish pages in and I’m OBSESSED

listen…. LISTEN!! I am the last person to willingly read a surprise baby book, but this book has metaphorically wrapped me up in the coziest blanket and is giving me forehead kisses currently, the characters in this are so sweet and I am a sucker for any book with a meddling/overbearing to the point of adoration family ala “my big Greek wedding”, so yes this is a yes so far

I wanted to love this but I find myself slogging through the last 20% and a third act breakup .. ew David

bought for 1.00 at my cottages local thrift shop, so far an easy simple dramatic read, looking forward to finishing it during the next following summer weekend or so

I jumped on the bandwagon & im throughly enjoying it so far with immersive reading

I fly through these bc they’re simple reads but they’re weirdly addictive at the same time

S/O to my local indie bookstore who said I was the SECOND Person that weekend to buy a copy of this and that they’ve had to order more in!

I have a lengthy ish car trip coming up and this is exactly what I’m excited to delve into

“so you’ve got an upstairs and downstairs ibuprofen bottle, so what?”

s/o to my local library for ordering this in! but this is legitimately the FUNNIEST first two chapters of a romance novel I’ve ever read

the chapter titles of this book are some of the funniest things, I know the author had fun coming up with these

this is genuinely making me crack up like queer romances have the best humor in them I don’t make the rules

these are the same vein as “cozy romances” imo, low stakes romance, easily digestible and utterly page turning addictive

this is a damn delight so far, found family trope and I’m eating it up like it’s Frosted Flakes

I needed to hear this!!

olivie blake you literary genius you!! the “reveal” (which I think it is) is done SO WELL

currently it’s giving off scents and undertones of “the menu” and “yellowjackets”, we shall see if my suspicions are correct in time

this series is like an Agatha Christie if it was written by the Bad Moms movie series, it’s a guilty pleasure & im loving it (even if it’s a far foray from my usual psych thriller/haunted house introspective journey)
