in a world of boys, he’s a gentleman 💖

this is reaching dnf ick territory

no fault to this book because I love it, but paparazzi are Not a thing when it comes to professional hockey players, like idk who tf my mediocre men are dating and everyone else is in the same boat

miss girl can write the HELL out of a yearning man

listening on audio! 🎧

give these narrators a raise honestly

I’ve been trying to finish this since the BEGINNING of the summer (thank goodness no one else has requested it from my local library), but the wild library podcast might be the push I need to finally finish it before OCTOBER

I’m in a horror kick as of late

the “my wife” mentions in this book has been scrumptious

currently reading as a BOTM for a Sept pick of an online book club!

a rare form in which there’s a sick/caretaking scene that’s actually adorably done & I can tolerate it, everybody clap!

honestly bless up to my library for being fine free bc I am slogging through this one fr

I’m only 8ish pages in and I’m OBSESSED

listen…. LISTEN!! I am the last person to willingly read a surprise baby book, but this book has metaphorically wrapped me up in the coziest blanket and is giving me forehead kisses currently, the characters in this are so sweet and I am a sucker for any book with a meddling/overbearing to the point of adoration family ala “my big Greek wedding”, so yes this is a yes so far

I wanted to love this but I find myself slogging through the last 20% and a third act breakup .. ew David

bought for 1.00 at my cottages local thrift shop, so far an easy simple dramatic read, looking forward to finishing it during the next following summer weekend or so

I jumped on the bandwagon & im throughly enjoying it so far with immersive reading

I fly through these bc they’re simple reads but they’re weirdly addictive at the same time

S/O to my local indie bookstore who said I was the SECOND Person that weekend to buy a copy of this and that they’ve had to order more in!

I have a lengthy ish car trip coming up and this is exactly what I’m excited to delve into

“so you’ve got an upstairs and downstairs ibuprofen bottle, so what?”

s/o to my local library for ordering this in! but this is legitimately the FUNNIEST first two chapters of a romance novel I’ve ever read

the chapter titles of this book are some of the funniest things, I know the author had fun coming up with these

this is genuinely making me crack up like queer romances have the best humor in them I don’t make the rules

s/o to Threads for letting me know Mason Deaver listed this as “Read Now” , specifically for the Trans Rights Readathon, thanks to AvonBooks!! this is exactly up my alley and I am SO excited to be able to read this!

felt like I was getting tickets to Metallica again but god BLESS Tarah Dewitt for making this read-only for 48 hours 🥹

enjoying this so far ✨

these are the same vein as “cozy romances” imo, low stakes romance, easily digestible and utterly page turning addictive
