Please it’s so good 😭 I didn’t think a primarily romance author would write such a good sci-fi

This is so much better than 99% of romance books I’ve read. Why did no one tell me how funny and good this is.

This book has really good impactful quotes

I’ve been enjoying the second half more than the first but now 😭 I just don’t like how now that we’re back at Basgiath it keeps giving us really short scenes and then skipping time. It makes me feel less connected to the story and characters when it does that. The characters barely get to talk and then all of a sudden it’s 3 weeks later. They need to have a discussion not just 2 sentences and then bye.

this one feels faster paced but the progress we’re making on reaching the very important time sensitive goals is soo slow omg. Someone please talk to me about this 😭

I feel like the writing is a little different in this one? Idk it just feels like a different vibe. Maybe it’s just because it’s new

So addicting!

This is the first book that I’ve been able to start and read more than 50 pages of without quitting in the last 2 weeks. I just started it and read the first 100 pages without stopping or doing anything else. Thank goodness to this book🫶 it makes me feel so nostalgic and it’s good so far

Oh my god the writing is so good, how did I not notice the first time. “If the trees belonged to Thomas, midnight was in love with Andrew. It made him braver somehow, invisible, hiding his delicate edges and leaving behind a lean and hungry shadow. In the dark, no one could see his hollow and empty places.” 🫶🫶 I’m really enjoying the writing & story more the second time

And after you're well rested, you can set sail again." 🥹 very relevant to my life rn and making me feel better about not having my post grad dreams accomplished

When will I start a new book that I enjoy 😭 this is so slow and boring that I just want to skim but that usually leads to a dnf

A great read for spooky season & Halloween 😊

I like that it’s set during fall and the setting of the manor being next to tall grass, a forest, and the sea. And it being cloudy and miles away from town. it’s a nice setting.

I really like the writing style! And the plot is very intriguing

Why is the font SO TINY

Most of this is set in a library with ghosts that the main character can see and talk to, so perfect for spooky season!

I really don’t like the writing by the setting is so good 😭 I might have to dnf because I’ve already rolled my eyes so many times

I enjoyed the beginning but now it’s not as whimsical and fantastical which is just disappointing to me. based on the cover I thought this would be more focused on the fantasy aspects but it just reminds me of real life a lot since it’s mentioning working with customers and dreaming about the past

I’m really enjoying it and it’s getting really sweet🥰 definitely see why it’s called a cottagecore cozy fantasy, and I’m very happy I can finally read a book where the book is what it says it is.

Loving the setting of the cottage and the village that reminds me of Gilmore Girls because of the characters. And love the talking plant companion 😊

Graves is so sweet and protective, I love him.

I like the premise but all the characters have done so far is argue, so the story hasn’t been enjoyable yet. I think it has good potential but Art is very infuriating and not nice to Gwen at all.
