While browsing Amazon, I noticed new 2026 editions of several Philip K. Dick novels: Time Out of Joint, A Scanner Darkly, VALIS, and Confessions of a Crap Artist (so far). They’re still published by Gollancz, but the new covers are more experimental and, to me, better suited to his work. I already own most of them except VALIS, but maybe some of you enjoy it.

Having finished Part 2, I still don't know what to make of it. However, I am finally willing to finish it. It feels intangible.

I first heard of this obscure writer through the Outlaw Bookseller channel on YouTube. The stories in this collection sound very interesting!

It's an odd beginning, with a unique writing style and approach to an indescribable story. It's unlike anything I've ever read! How can someone write something like that? I have no idea where the story will lead, but I want more of it!

Very strong opening, very unique! A religious society that punishes blasphemy, murder and adultery with decapitation, but modern technology allows the decapitated to live on without their head!

What a confusing, but at the same time captivating start. On every page there are new layers upon layers, also many characters.
How do I explain a newbie to PKD that in the future there will be organic recording machines and commercial devices who attach themselves to self-driving cars and blurt out their ads to the passengers?
