Ok, Greid is delightfully charming. Every time I think this is just ok his POV combined with the male narrator has me laughing unexpectedly. I’m realizing the story has a lot of downtime, Netflix & chill binge fest nightly so it can feel slow at times but their growing romance is really sweet, sexy and fun. Plus his love of alien weed and his late night shopping antics are hilarious. This is a good time.

I am plodding my way through this based on the high praise from other readers. I’m finding when I listen to it I do like it, but the pacing just feels very slow. It reminds me of Circe with less action, but it still has the beautiful prose. The audiobook narrator has a beautiful accent, and I do enjoy listening to it.

So far it’s a tiny bit better than the 1st book in this series. However, I bought the first book and the second book came up free on Libby almost immediately after I finished the first one so I couldn’t help myself. Kind of wish I would’ve though because there are better books out there. I was just in the mood for a holiday romance, but this is nothing spectacular or original.

Teddy Hamilton narrating Junior is delicious to my ears. I love the snarky banter and their love/loathe you struggle. The unapologetic talk about kinks and sex work is very refreshing. I’m enjoying this.

This is a story so good I’ve laughed and cried through it. It’s like a peppermint hot chocolate on a cold snowy night walk through the neighborhood to look at Christmas lights. It’s charming and nostalgic and deeply romantic. I never want it to end.❤️🎄💚

For having the most insane instalove moment ever and the premise based all around dragon mating heat and forbidden naughty bad fun…this book is decidedly vague on the smut.😭

Now we’re getting somewhere! All it took for me to get into this was two different audiobook duds to send me back to this book in defeat. Turns out it actually managed to hook me in this time!

Well if this isn’t the fastest case of instalove I don’t know what is. Upon meeting for the first time he set eyes upon her and as soon as she spoke he grabbed her hand and declared he was going into heat and now so is she. Now comes the forced proximity trope and the fight to NOT have kinky dragon heat sex. Omg, why am I reading this? The dragon made me do it! It’s always the dragon’s fault!🐲❤️‍🔥

I’m so bored I put this down and actually p/u Dawn of Chaos and Fury again after almost shelving it DNF. I think I will put this one on the DNF shelf for now. I really can’t imagine I’ll pick it up again though. That’s what happens when we’re halfway through and NOTHING HAS HAPPENED!!!😣

My interest is fading in and out of this audiobook. I can’t say it’s hooked me the way the first duo in this series did. The male narrator has a somewhat sexy voice but the female narrator is kinda bland and she is more heavily featured. If nothing happens in the next little bit I may set this down for now. I don’t want to shelve it DNF so I’ll try to keep an open mind- and pay closer attention.😂

I have this checked out from my local library and even knowing there are 25 hours left and a 2 week countdown I can’t bring myself to listen to this. I might abandon this series on the final book because I’m tired of being confused most of the time keeping track of characters with similar names, hearing the word chaos overused and mostly Tessa. She just sucks. Beyond annoying, frustrating and fucking boring!

Delicious and surprisingly entertaining for smutty smut smutness.😂

I’m already tired of two things: the word chaos and Tessa’s bullshit. I’m not even 2 hrs in. This is a 30hr audiobook. Gods give me strength. I mean, it’s the final book in an epic series…I have to finish this, right? RIGHT?!😒

I had such a hard time getting into this because I listened to it in small amounts at a time. I had to backtrack repeatedly because of falling asleep at night. I finally did get into it though and I am really enjoying it and terrified to know it’s almost over. I know it ends on a cliffhanger so I’m worried how bad it’s going to be. Thank the goddess for Onyx! Loving the name switch up. Fitting.❤️‍🔥

I’m still underwhelmed. It doesn’t help that I keep falling asleep while listening to the audiobook and having to backtrack but feeling like I’m still missing parts. The constant POV rotation maybe is contributing to the feeling of being unable to be immersed in the story. I soldier on.😆

Idk, so far I’m underwhelmed by this. I also don’t love how we went from Fae intrigue to a vampire-centric story. Not my fave. Carrion is a delight for sure and it looks like he’s going to play a bigger role in the next part of the book. He and Kingfisher are so amusing pitted against each other.

I feel like we’re just setting up the very beginning of an enormous story arch with many truths left to be revealed. As much as I’m enjoying this book, I am also kicking myself for not waiting until the full trilogy is published. I just know we’ve got a brutal cliffhanger coming.

I am surprised by how much I am enjoying this but I did go in blind so I didn’t know what to expect. I am so curious to understand what exactly is going on and how Emeline is being used as a pawn. For I am certain she is. I am sensing a betrayal coming and it’s going to be brutal.

I have a bad habit of scrolling Goodreads & Libby as well as Bookbub and Chirp (I know it’s a problem🤦🏻‍♀️) while listening to audiobooks. Sure I miss a line here or there but this one had my full attention and I even backtracked to hear it again “I’m certainly not going to straddle him and do away with this pesky maidenhead.”🙀😹🤣

Ok this is actually quite charming. The narrator is not as bad as I 1st thought and seems to fit the character well. I was amused by the mispronunciation of catechism as catachizzum.🤭😂🤷🏻‍♀️

I wasn’t sure about this audiobook with the author’s last name COFFIN paired with the audiobook narrator’s last name of Skaer, yep pronounced scare- it automatically felt like it was trying too hard. That and the narrator was underwhelming UNTIL the haunted house tries to write scary messages in steam on the mirror but doesn’t account for needing to reverse them which tickled my funny bone just right.💀

I’m loving this and CANNOT wait for this beha to seize her power and kick some fucking ass!😤

IDK about this. My attention is wandering. Definitely feels YA.
