It’s so good I don’t want it to end especially knowing the next book is at least a year away!

The chemistry between Saga and Kassandr literally had me kicking my feet in giddiness! It’s so flirty but with an edge of unfulfilled desire keeping it tense in the best way possible. K is diabolical in his pursuit of her. This kind of gives me ACOMAF vibes w/ the empowerment of the FMC from the MMC. I’m loving seeing Saga come into her own.

Disappointed! DNF.

This is the perfect example of where an immersive read would be so helpful for pronunciation and spelling and to keep names and geography straight.

I am almost 7 hours into this audiobook and I’m bored. I feel like nothing much has happened and the romance doesn’t even seem like it’s gotten off the ground yet. I am considering shelving this on the DNF shelf, especially now that Dawn of the North just dropped into my Libby account!

In this world we quote Beyonce but we still call glasses spectacles? The world building/settings are so vague and not thoroughly fleshed out…yet? The male narrator Will Watt has a Celtic lilt of indeterminate origin which is captivating, sexy and really elevates the story. The camaraderie within the Sinners has good potential for fun and snarky banter. The romance is barely getting going but could be steamy.

I’m not impressed.

WTF happened to Toran or Taurin or Torin however you spell it! He just rides off one night because he has feelings for the main character and we never see him again? I’m assuming he’ll show up before the book is over but it is weird that he just bowed out with a nice Irish goodbye.

I’m really enjoying this audiobook but it feels really rushed. I still have whiplash from the 5 year time jump tbh. Is this one of those books where the last 100 pages are going to be so action packed I’m going to be reeling at the cliffhanger I know is coming. I have to decide book 2, wait for may for the audiobook? 4weeks Libby loan available. $12 ebook? I guess we’ll see where it leaves me emotionally.

I’m not wowed by this audiobook so far. Kind of mediocre writing with unoriginal banter. I’m in a reading slump!

The male narrator just said hello and all of my lady parts sat up and took notice. The story is also drawing me in but Sean Masters voice is panty melting.🫠 🫦

Ok, Greid is delightfully charming. Every time I think this is just ok his POV combined with the male narrator has me laughing unexpectedly. I’m realizing the story has a lot of downtime, Netflix & chill binge fest nightly so it can feel slow at times but their growing romance is really sweet, sexy and fun. Plus his love of alien weed and his late night shopping antics are hilarious. This is a good time.

I am plodding my way through this based on the high praise from other readers. I’m finding when I listen to it I do like it, but the pacing just feels very slow. It reminds me of Circe with less action, but it still has the beautiful prose. The audiobook narrator has a beautiful accent, and I do enjoy listening to it.

So far it’s a tiny bit better than the 1st book in this series. However, I bought the first book and the second book came up free on Libby almost immediately after I finished the first one so I couldn’t help myself. Kind of wish I would’ve though because there are better books out there. I was just in the mood for a holiday romance, but this is nothing spectacular or original.

Teddy Hamilton narrating Junior is delicious to my ears. I love the snarky banter and their love/loathe you struggle. The unapologetic talk about kinks and sex work is very refreshing. I’m enjoying this.

This is a story so good I’ve laughed and cried through it. It’s like a peppermint hot chocolate on a cold snowy night walk through the neighborhood to look at Christmas lights. It’s charming and nostalgic and deeply romantic. I never want it to end.❤️🎄💚

For having the most insane instalove moment ever and the premise based all around dragon mating heat and forbidden naughty bad fun…this book is decidedly vague on the smut.😭

Now we’re getting somewhere! All it took for me to get into this was two different audiobook duds to send me back to this book in defeat. Turns out it actually managed to hook me in this time!

Well if this isn’t the fastest case of instalove I don’t know what is. Upon meeting for the first time he set eyes upon her and as soon as she spoke he grabbed her hand and declared he was going into heat and now so is she. Now comes the forced proximity trope and the fight to NOT have kinky dragon heat sex. Omg, why am I reading this? The dragon made me do it! It’s always the dragon’s fault!🐲❤️‍🔥

I’m so bored I put this down and actually p/u Dawn of Chaos and Fury again after almost shelving it DNF. I think I will put this one on the DNF shelf for now. I really can’t imagine I’ll pick it up again though. That’s what happens when we’re halfway through and NOTHING HAS HAPPENED!!!😣

My interest is fading in and out of this audiobook. I can’t say it’s hooked me the way the first duo in this series did. The male narrator has a somewhat sexy voice but the female narrator is kinda bland and she is more heavily featured. If nothing happens in the next little bit I may set this down for now. I don’t want to shelve it DNF so I’ll try to keep an open mind- and pay closer attention.😂

I have this checked out from my local library and even knowing there are 25 hours left and a 2 week countdown I can’t bring myself to listen to this. I might abandon this series on the final book because I’m tired of being confused most of the time keeping track of characters with similar names, hearing the word chaos overused and mostly Tessa. She just sucks. Beyond annoying, frustrating and fucking boring!

Delicious and surprisingly entertaining for smutty smut smutness.😂

I’m already tired of two things: the word chaos and Tessa’s bullshit. I’m not even 2 hrs in. This is a 30hr audiobook. Gods give me strength. I mean, it’s the final book in an epic series…I have to finish this, right? RIGHT?!😒

I had such a hard time getting into this because I listened to it in small amounts at a time. I had to backtrack repeatedly because of falling asleep at night. I finally did get into it though and I am really enjoying it and terrified to know it’s almost over. I know it ends on a cliffhanger so I’m worried how bad it’s going to be. Thank the goddess for Onyx! Loving the name switch up. Fitting.❤️‍🔥
