I’m stalled out at chapter 42 because I am so anxious about the upcoming emotional damage everyone’s been talking about on bookstagram. I’m not ready! The new POV‘s has been a wonderful addition to this sequel to SOS but I am so afraid of how this is gonna play out for these alternate POV’s.

I’m so into this right now I lowkey have to keep reminding myself that these are VICARIOUS feelings from a FICTIONAL story. Like chill the fuck out sensitive little snowflake. I feel the threads interweaving and from what I understand we’re working up to massive emotional damage and a DIABOLICAL cliffy. Also I fucking HATE Odessa’s family.😤

Jeezus, the way I DRAGGED my feet to start this, despite the book world raving, you’d think I didn’t listen to SoS 2x for the vibes alone. I really enjoyed SoS, obviously enough to listen to it twice, but TBH I thought it was just entertaining, not mind blowing. However, I hear this one is God tier and DP is a mastermind and I’m going to need a Costco size box of tissue. FOMO is a real thing, so here I go.

I’m finally getting over the shock enough to tap play on this audiobook. After being diabolically edged by NA for months, I can’t believe I am actually listening to this book right now! My Libby hold was looking sad being 66th in line with 11 weeks away supposedly, I thought it was gonna be a long wait. However, magically my loan just landed in my account so I’m digging into this much anticipated book!

The chemistry is off the charts delicious. I enjoyed the first book a lot, but this book by far has even better banter between the MCs as well as the football team. Those guys are hilarious with each other. I did not expect to enjoy a college athletes romance so much. Color me surprised.🏈❤️‍🔥🫦

Holy shit this is a strong start! From chapter 1 it is intriguing and reels you in pretty quickly. I couldn’t be happier that my Libby loan just dropped into my account with one of my favorite narrators (I’m binging all his audiobooks right now)… Teddy Hamilton! And! And! It’s narrated in duet style! I feel like a kid at Christmas right now.😂
