It all starts in spring of 1912. College student, David Graham, writes a fan letter to Elspeth Dunn, In appreciation for her poetry book. Thus begins a pen pal friendship that spans across the ocean from Illinois to the Isle of Skye, off the coast of Scotland. The letters continue during WWI through 1917. This is a sweet story of a poet, her muse, and their undying love for each other against all odds.

Well, it is nothing like All the Light we Cannot See but I’m going to give it the old college try! Lol. I’m up to page 200 of 983 (Large Print)!!

So far it is interesting. I struggle with non-fiction so I am just planning to take my time and enjoy reading Barack.

So far, just another beach read. Love that it is set in South Haven!
