It all starts in spring of 1912. College student, David Graham, writes a fan letter to Elspeth Dunn, In appreciation for her poetry book. Thus begins a pen pal friendship that spans across the ocean from Illinois to the Isle of Skye, off the coast of Scotland. The letters continue during WWI through 1917. This is a sweet story of a poet, her muse, and their undying love for each other against all odds.
