the bi-partisan consensus chapter has been particularly difficult to get through because you can see all of the groundwork being laid for the hellscape we are currently living in.

my only complaint about this book is that sometimes the timeline rewinds between chapters can feel really jarring

ok i’m really ready for this thing to wrap up, this 3rd book feels a little bit like a mess
