This is what I needed from this series, after Kingdoms of Death and Ashes of Man. I cannot clearly explain why, but my interest was flagging.
This book, however, has revivified my investment in the series. Despite the excess inclusion of unnecessary “breasts” and “nakedness” and “sexy princess lying naked at the foot of my throne”—like dude, we get it, you have fantasies—I’m enjoying this one.
