The last 50 pages saved the plot. I still feel disconnected by the characters. But glad a new one entered the scene

This scene doesn’t make any sense. I don’t like it when there is absolutely no development you jump from « she hates him » to « she wants to jump him » they barely saw each other in between. Disappointing
