DNF @ 49% :(

Such a cute premise, and I really wanted to love it, but there are too many books in the world to force myself through one I'm not feeling

Pre movie release re read !!! audiobook this time - narration is fantastic

The UK court system of it all is throwing me a bit, but I digress

Unfortunately am going to have to dnf about 30 pages in. Trying to be better about only reading books I'm really excited about as opposed to forcing myself through something I'm not in the mood for/don't like. This feels like progress!

Sybil is very much giving Tova from Remarkably Bright Creatures if she slayed and wasn't annoying af. The format with the letters was a bit tough to follow/keep the (many) different characters straight at first, especially since I'm listening, but I think I've got a handle on it now. The audiobook narration is phenomenal!

So far the perfect summer read. Had no idea the story took place in Ohio before adding to my TBR ?? I unfortunately don't have eloquent enough words to describe the way the writing is making me FEEL. Captures girlhood / hot Ohio summers in such a way that I'm sick to my stomach ! It really is completely too hard to be 15.

I wish there was a way that female audiobook narrators reading male speaking parts didn’t have to give me the ick

ugh apparently I wish my library hold hadn't take so long so I could've read this in the winter! So cozy so cutesy so far
