Reading a book in a whole weekend is ambitious but what can I say, I like to dream big

I think every paragraph ends with something along the lines of
“hockey is love, hockey is life”
“you either get hockey or you don’t”
“hockey is the very breath of the soul of the raccoon down the street”

Don’t event, don’tttttt this is my least favorite trope in all media

I could not tell you where this book is going and how it’s gonna end in the next 10-20 pages

giving love (this book) another chance, i will not let the middle of space defeat me as i’m hoping it will not defeat Dr. Grace🙏

I don’t think I’ve read a memoir since middle/high school but I’m invested in the story of her life as if I were reading a fiction book

Emily Henry, I’m sorry this genre shift of yours didn’t get received well. If you’re reading this, I’m thoroughly enjoying this little world you created. There definitely is some dissonance, I love the story but also the lingering question of “what’s the point?” lingers. I’m sure it’ll be answered soon.
