Killer way to end the first act. Wilson just does a stellar job meshing all these lives together under one roof. Maybe Bertha’s character is a bit vapid, but so was Rose’s in Fences until the second act. So we’ll see about her. Everyone else is so alive a brimming with character

New Year’s Eve — kinda weak
The Doctor — great passages about youth

“The Fenton Child” will be stuck in my head for a minute. Surprisingly darker than it let on. Really liking Gallant’s writing style, the chapters, breaks and whatnot.
