Nice extra touch that little conflict about women having a past and the guy freaking out.

Also I like that we're going to have a final conflict that I honestly was missing.

Good lore here. They're actively mention other packs that for sure the author will explore in future books and that talk between Killian and the old witch was cool.

Also we are half way through the road so it's okay if he takes the super wrong approach here. That line about tying her to his bed because she belongs to him and he's the alpha is gonna make all of this more interesting.

I like we're switching from Una to Killian. I prefer this over only staying with one (usually the girl). This way the couple can grow inside me.

I think is a good sign that the long chapters don't bother me.

So the bond is a sort of telepathy because they can sense their mate at the distance and even call them. Nice lore.

I was expecting much more lionesses here but I got a denounce about the violence at many levels women suffer in this society. This is not a complaint.

So funny how this looked like a love story and the girl is thinking in his hunter and this guy barely remembers her.

Man I'm loving the drama in the hunter's life. He loves a woman who rejected him but now she needs to go with him in order to prevent him from dying in this "last" hunt for him.

Ok, so far he's been telling us about life inside the camp. Now I'm guessing the next half is going to comprehend how after losing everything he was able to find a meaning for his life.

I kinda agree with the lack of purpose leading to giving up on your life.

This is clearly a book about self help but I'm going to roll with it to see where this goes.

The preface is kinda funny.

"Dr. I feel down and depressed"

"Hey, why don't you kill yourself?"

Ok, now I can get more interested in this family. Ammu and Chacko are interesting and I'm kinda feeling more interested in the twins.

Also a little more insight of the cast system with the untouchables. Of course is all bullshit but that is how bigotry works.

I'd say this first chapter was ineffective because I'm just not interested in this family.

First chapter and it took me forever but I think I understand the family or at least the siblings and Bebe are weird and the environment didn't help.

Chapters that last more than an hour nooooo

Third act, first scene. They kinda hate each other but they can live without each other. I can relate.

BTW Lorca's writing is still on fire.

Second act, second scene.

I love "the mother", "only the honest ones throw themselves into the water but not that one".

Second act, first scene: what I don't have clear is the reason they broke up but now is sealed because he got married and she's marrying.

The verses are really nice to read.

The bride doesn't want to get married and Leonardo still loves her.

I like the use of short answers and I believe this helps to build tension. Things like, "are you happy? - I am". You're answering, yes, but there is some underlying tension there.

Very fun reading so far.

Second act and we are having a wedding but something is off with Leonardo and the woman.

I barely understand rhymes and poems but that one about the horse was beautiful.

First scene and we got hopes for the future, drama from the past and a conflict in the present. Pim pam pum. Lorca was good.

Everything was believable until the 6 years old started to talk like that.

At the end the town disrespected Pedro Paramo where hurt the most: They have parties and fair when Susana San Juan, his loved one, passed away.

And he's going vengeance for that.

I can see how Pedro Paramo is the connection with all that happens in this town.

Also oh my god finally I'm keeping up with Pedro Paramo. I'm following all of this.

"Are you dead?" It's the constant question here.

This is the third time I'm trying this book and even if I didn't remember anything about the story I'm not feeling lost like I felt in the previous reading.

Pedro Paramo is ruthless and this guy has real guts because going through this ghost town is not for easily scared people.

I never thought Annalise was lying to Clara. So Fernanda didn't do it? I guess I'm about to finding it out.

The writing is beautiful, all the parallelism used are kinda pleasant from a reader point of view.

It's nice the Clara pointed out the essay didn't look like one written by a 15 year old girl.

So Annalise snitched on Fernanda and this is causing the whole kidnapping?

Both sides have this parallelism about cannibalizing their mothers. The parts with Clara intern monologuing were good, you can see how mentally ill she is and Fernanda's monologues were funny but I think this is been dragging for a while and I'm getting bored. I think I'm not that interested in the creepy pasta side of the story.

The writing style is kinda beautiful and also funny but only when we are with Fernanda. The obvious reason for this was revenge but so far it hasn't been revealed the girls did something to Miss Clara.

Also Miss Clara hunting rabbits? That's something you wouldn't expect from a literature teacher.

The way she is counting the days, hours and minutes after the event shows how it marked her.

Also the mother was awful.

In some way you could stop here and it would feel like an ending with so much for the future but there were "some" resolutions.

What Gladstone did was the equivalent to shutdown the internet or even worse taking electricity away from humanity. Suddenly the capacity to travel went over the window or the whole economy was dismantled. From a readers perspective she did a good thing but still it's undeniable the chaos and price of the freedom humanity got was so high. I liked Gladstone.

For the first part the shrink was this terrifying creature that will get you and kill or at least do something horrible to you but these last few chapters have been hilarious. The shrink attending to a funeral or just walking around marching.

The AI faked this war so humanity wants to counter attack. Coincidentally AI has a weapon that could kill all humanity and is going to offer it to these idiots that are already panicking.
