Is Shay capable of a healthy relationship, or is his trauma too deeply entwined with his idea of love?
His intentions against his behaviour is so alarming.

he values what she provides him emotionally and physically more than he values her autonomy and doesn’t sees Mina as an equal person just someone who exists to meet his needs 😔

I’ve been so excited to read this sequel after “ a hue of blu” 🥹✨

Halfway through and I’m loving it. It’s incredibly engaging, especially because the psychological aspect is far stronger than the physical horror. The tension is crazy I’ve had so many questions while reading, and I love that the story gradually comes together instead of all at once.

Arghh excited, I’ve been avoiding this book for years since I read exodus.
Exodus broke my heart but I’m back to complete the trilogy 🫢😅

A chronic illness is not difficult to live with because it is endless. It is difficult to live with because it is unpredictable. But like grief, every flare ends, and though the looming threat is constant, you learn to live beside it. A shadow of mixed blessings. It does not heal as wounds do, but it teaches you of your own strength till you can wear it like a battle scar.
