I just heard a line that was almost word for word from 50 shades after a scene that wasn't bad but annoyed me because "gentle brush" is THE LAST THING a woman would say about a pap smear. So I'm wondering why this author did. Also.."womb clenched" is an ick I didn't know I had. If I wasn't listening to this, I might DNF... idk yet. I like it but I don't. I'll continue on for now

This is easily, 100%, hands-down the best Christmas book I've read this year...and probably ever. Also, this is my first Lucy Score book, and oh my, I might just have a new fave. Lol good thing since I already have 6 more of her books on my shelf 😅

I want to DNF this so badly, but I've come soo far😭 I always encourage others to DNF, but I never do. Although, to be fair, this is the first books I've read in a *long* time that I've even thought about DNFing. Sigh

Axe & Zoey's story has already pulled me in! He's the perfect morally gray man, a walking red-flag in the best bookfriend way.

This work is the first I've read of its kind, as well as my first Miller work. I'm enjoying exploring life in this world through Circe

This book is a rollercoaster ride. What's real, who's real? Who knows? It's exciting and agonizing in the best way.

This book so far is totally not what I was expecting going straight into it from Rage & Ruin. I'm enjoying it, though! So happy the major issue from the end of R&R was resolved rather quickly, yet in a thought-out way.
