My read count is actually higher, but Goodreads won’t let me add books not available already >_> so I am just using the reading challenge as an estimate for how much I need to read.

story had an interesting start but then got really boring because of the dialogue.

Last night, I did a DNF on two books back-to-back. Never made it to the third page of either. This says a lot about my likes and don’t likes as a reader. Writing style can really pull me out of the story. Male POVs done poorly (think like someone trying to be someone else) are also a nope. Have some other reading discoveries, too. But with so many books out there, I’m not jaded.

I’ve picked up and put down this book multiple times, but I’m planning to finish it. I really like this book buuuttttt one of the characters seems way more…. Beta than alpha… and his actions are off putting. Kathryn Moon did a good job of making sure he didn’t take up too much screen time or else I’d have to rate this down more. This character could have ruined the book for me. LOL.

Intense work of art that you can’t skim or read quickly. XD

I like this book and have the audio and Kindle version, but reading it is slow going as it requires a lot of focus XD.

I don’t really like the book, so it’s hard for me to finish. But I probably will in hopes it will redeem itself because I really want to like it.

Cleared out my to-read shelves dropping from more than 1,000 to less than 500. Clearly my reading habits have evolved.

Five of the books in my "currently reading" list are from this one. Only so I can remember which ones I need to read. One I refuse to read.
