this is tearing me apart in a way i desperately needed.

i am glad i kept on listening to this even though it is more memoir than i was expecting going into it bc it's making me think about myself and my relationship with queerness a lot

i am listening to this and went in thinking it would be not just a memoir so i already am a little like. not getting what i thought this was. the parts that talk about how nature is queer and that belonging it gives me is really good!!!!! and i thought that was all this was so the memoir parts are not hitting for me.

nothing extraordinary and i don't hate it. getting some gentle smiles from me as i am reading bc i really do just need lighthearted easy reading rn and that is what this is giving me

never really thought i was going to read this but someone let me borrow her copy and said she liked it and it was a fun easy read and i caved and agreed so she could talk to me about it... so

restarting this bc i started reading it in a library copy and wanted to underline very bad and did buy my own copy and just haven't been in the right headspace for it again until now
