this book is so wildly sexist it's almost impressive and every time I think it can't get worse, I'm proven wrong!

this book is just "the mummy, but they fuck", a completely vibes-based reading experience with anachronistic language and a flimsy understanding of what this story would've actually been like had it occurred in 1935. But there is fanfiction for all there are eyes to gaze upon it, and I'm simply too curious not to follow the butterflies

Aidan is pissing me off and I'm noticing a pattern in dialogue that's hard to look over once you notice it. I think I'll end up finishing this to get to the 2nd one which sounds infinitely more interesting.
