Really starting to wind me up now, this book never shows it only tells. Its always jumping around for no reason, the story is just so poorly told. How is addie 300 years old with no interesting insights or perspectives. All she does is steal stuff and talk about waking up in satin sheets. Also she's dumb and unambitious, it took her 75 years to leave paris????? Bruh u r boring

I feel like the romance between Henry and Addie is so oversimplified, like what are the chances that the only other person who can see u in 500 years is also a guy around ur age who u fancy and get along with? What if they fall out? They haven't considered the consequences at all, they are both very short sighted and naive which I guess makes sense if ur the type of person to make a deal with the devil lol.

"A palimpsest in reverse" felt very jarring

It's so long and also quite repetitive, there are phrases if not whole sentences being repeated,the writing seems kind of juvenile?

I lost this book :'(

I think the blurb is quite misleading on this, it's implies the story takes place 16 years after the events of the camp however I'm over half way through and they've only just left the camp. I feel like the blurb is kind of a spoiler which is annoying

How is accidentally bleeding on stuff the main driver of this plot

The premise feels pretty flimsy atm, what is the plan just bleed on stuff forever? Also if that is the plan surely they could do something a bit more systematic / efficient rather than just waiting around for a not like other girls girl to offer some fresh perspectives. also the main character is annoying, actually all the characters r annoying
