عندما نطرح السؤال :" هل يمكن أن يستمر هذا إلى الأبد؟"، فإننا نؤكد وجودنا ضمنياً ،ونمده إلى أجل غير مسمى في المستقبل، ونقوم بتقييم تراثنا وفحصه. إن الاعتراف بنهاية نهائية يمنحنا السياق والمعنى، وحتى الأمل والمفارقة أنه ايضاً يتيح لنا التراجع عن اهتماماتنا اليومية التافهة، وأن نعيش في ذات الوقت على نحوٍ أكثر اكتمالاً في نفس اللحظة. ربما هذا هو المعنى الذي نسعى إليه.
