very interested in whats going on with leah/her pov line, less interested in whats going on with miri. i mostly find miri interesting as a person and in regard to leah.

enjoying the writing style. the main character is awful but in a way i'm not opposed to. primarily hoping for like... plot.... to happen soon

that death scene was incredibly visceral and brutal and well written but unfortunately the thousand word twitter monologue in the middle of it was not

loving the whole veronica and JD thing theyve got going on TBH

i feel like AJW's writing is so significantly held back by how... not-real his villains are. i'm half expecting this sheriff to twirl his moustache every other paragraph, and it really takes from the otherwise well-written tension.

the writing style is very very very good EXCEPT in the spots where it. really is not. if that makes sense. a lot of sentences would be better if you cut a few words, yk? but overall White is definitely growing his prose
