that death scene was incredibly visceral and brutal and well written but unfortunately the thousand word twitter monologue in the middle of it was not

loving the whole veronica and JD thing theyve got going on TBH

the writing style is very very very good EXCEPT in the spots where it. really is not. if that makes sense. a lot of sentences would be better if you cut a few words, yk? but overall White is definitely growing his prose

i cannot currently tell if the conflating of communist and socialist is a "these guys don't know the difference" thing or a "miles doesn't know the difference thing"
on a kinder note, bc ive been bitchy, there is leagues of improvement in writing style for every AJW book i read and this is no exception

unfortunately as someone who has had a severe head injury i do think miles is automatically one of the stupidest people on the planet for not reporting the hallucinations. bro you could be dying
