Time for another reread 💛

For the first time in a month, I’ve picked up a rom-com… the romantasy mood trench has been so deep this spring 😂

Three stories in and I’m ready to shake Sidney. My least fav collection so far… hoping the last 3 stories might redeem it for me.

My first Tara Grayce book and I. Am. Sold. Now to prepare to devour her entire backlist, haha 😂

And so it begins… casual heartbreak on a Tuesday afternoon 😭

“The supreme happiness of life consists in the conviction that one is loved; loved for one’s own sake—let us rather say, loved in spite of one’s self.”

Toad might be the most aggregating creature alive and the title aptly changed to “The Intervention of Toad” but it’s a smashing good story regardless. And this line had me busting up 🤣

“Independence is all very well, but we animals never allow our friends to make fools of themselves beyond a certain limit; and that limit you’ve reached.”
