Being unable to sleep truly does suck!! At least this chapter was full of gossip to keep me entertained. Despite the mandatory manners they manage to bad-mouth each other an awful lot. Austen’s usual ironic tone has also been unusually absent from the last ten pages which suggests the whistleblower of this particular piece of news may be far from honest. He comes across as two good to be true.
