Honestly not liking MMC at all so far. I’m all for a broody, grumpy MMC and the whole enemies to lovers trope, but (so far at least), this feels like a poor attempt at it. I hope I’m proven wrong.

This may be TMI but I have dried tears and snot on my face. That diary entry…say it ain’t so! If my suspicions are correct I may actually faint. I’m almost at the end and to say I am genuinely frightened is a serious understatement.

Man it took me a while to really get into this book but once the plot twists came I was HOOKED. I had to literally do a lap around my house. I am at a loss for words.

Good so far, definitely interesting and the worldbuilding is quite complex so far but I’m managing it just fine. Sorry if it sounds heartless but I didn’t give two sh*ts about Essi, I cried more about Nee lmao. The Other…is this some Venom type shi or am I imagining it wrong? 👀

This book has been absolute WORK to get through so far 🥲 definitely not liking it nearly as much as I liked the first one. I usually don’t mind dual POVs but I honestly think Raihn’s POV is not only totally unnecessary but it’s often kinda cringeworthy 🫠

Thoroughly engaging and super interesting! I like how the plot steadily advances instead of rushing from one scene to another. There’s also a lot of new elements introduced in this book and I’m excited to see what happens next!!!

Started off really slow and it’s a bit too info-dumpy for my liking BUT I am really enjoying it now! It’s so cute watching Ketahn and Ivy try to learn eachother’s languages 🥹 that scene with the rug though LMFAO I felt so bad for Ivy but I was giggling too 💀
