‘That was the winter Hassan stopped smiling’ yeah… no. I can’t bring myself to read this book after a thousand splendid suns because i know Khaled Hosseini is sick in the head and will ruin my life even more. I still tear up when i think about maryam and Layla for too long. I bet that after reading this i wont be able to face anyone named Hassan ever again

Worst, best book ever written. Once I’m done with this book I’ll never pick it up again. My heart still feels heavy in my chest. I was planning on finishing it today, but - and i say this with my hand on my heart - feel sick. Like my stomach is flipped upside down. Because I genuinely don’t know what khalid hosseini is planning on ruining me further. Tomorrow I’ll finish this book and not look back.

Its like I’m reading a book written by a man

I don’t was at the verge of dropping this book. I cried several times already and i’m not even halfway though this book and it has already scared me. I get this feeling that is will haunt me for the rest of my life the same way hamin’s story did.
