Okay, I think I'm reading this. My copy is called From The Forest, but everything seems to line up right. We'll see how I like it.

Diving back in. Still haven't gotten to the point where the title makes sense.

Surprisingly I've never read this before.

First book of the three done. what a strange we told, but man the writing is amazing. also, hell yeah for flying carpets and war elephants!!

slow going, but back into.

Such an interesting style. I'm digging it though.

Pearl was a ton of imagery and metaphor. Not quite as lovely as Sir Orfeo. Onward to the Green Knight!

Sir Orfeo was fun. I read some of it out loud to my daughters, who got a kick out of it.

One chapter down and I've already learned a bunch. kinda really enjoying this book.

Cool Air was creepy. great start to the book.

Already better than the first one. The second story, Silver Blaze: Murder Horse is hilarious.

So, so lovely.

not really sure. it's almost overly flowery and whimsical. which is not a thing I ever thought I'd think about a book.
