Had this audiobook on as background noise while cleaning, zoned out and then came back to earth… obvs missing the part where it is pointed out that this is following 2 different POVs. I spent a good 15% of this book confused but making way more sense now lol

Betrayal taking on a whole new meaning - in awe of someone that could survive this brutal invasion of one’s self in every sense of the meaning

First time revisiting a DNF. I tried reading this last year but going to try the audiobook as everyone person I have spoken to liked that version. Maybe it is one that needs to be listened to rather than read 😬🤞

2.75 ⭐️ I feel this book could have been better as it had a unique plot of 2 murders 50yrs apart with the victims having the same name and being killed in the same place. While there were twists and turns along the way I feel the most information was dumped in the last few chapters of the book and wrapped up too neatly

Finding the storyline to be an interesting concept.
Main character is 18 yrs old, once you accept that and the lack of life experience it is easier to understand her actions

I am 6hr and 15mins in, I have 12hrs and 44mins to go and at time is find myself zoning out before getting drawn back in

Looking forward to another book in this series causing my skin to crawl
