Honestly I'm rooting for the ohaguro bettari at this point

Cannot believe I'm already 55% in. This book is short as hell!
Lin is being lowkey hot but obviously toxic and though I don't really appreciate the girls against girls narrative here I guess I'll overlook it.
Also this book has not passed the Bechdel test yet, unless the corpse bride talking to Cat counts
Also Cat is pretty witty with her comebacks sometimes and the dialogue is pretty tight which is awesome

The late light did beautiful things to her skin, burnished her in gold.
