The writing is sometimes confusing, and I don’t think he’s an especially socially conscious, polite guy. A lot of these examples are hurtful and inauthentic.

Its good, i wish it was deeper into the emotional complexity of social acceptability, meanness, genuineness, and likeability though.

Well-wielded, I mean. There’s less abuse in thjs one, albeit an extremely questionable acceptance for abusers, so the lovely writing is allowed to shine. It’s folky, but also a little scientific. I like it.

Meh. It’s…not good. It’s supposed to sound wise, it seems, many of these philosophical and poetic statements, but they’re not.

Dont like the writing style, or plot, really. Psychologically, a bit simple.

The plot twists are too much for me. I preferred the book as the first way i filled in the gaps. I assumed things would collide that…didnt. This is the way of good but unambitious books. Too much never happens, and it takes too long to realize it won’t.

It was good until the sudden revelations and explanations. It felt like a waste.

I got to the assault scene…and i did not expect an assault scene.

The names…elude me. But its heroic enough

*Cries* I really dont like reading this book. Especially on a time crunch. It does nothing for me. Why does it do nothing for me?

I dont like the rape and prostitution, but otherwise still good.
