There were some really nice parts so far but there is too much giggling and the word magnet is overused. I miss chemistry and tension. Can't help it, it goes unfortunately to my DNF list.

Bin ich die Einzige, die von der Erzählung im Präsens etwas irritiert ist? Und ist die Übersetzung nicht stellenweise etwas holprig? Zumindest irritiert mich öfter die Schreibweise.

It was at pages 30 when it was the first time I wanted to delete the book from my device but I forced myself to read further in hopes it would get better. I cannot enjoy the writing style. There is attempt on bantering but it falls flat. In general, the sentence building feels often clumsy and the words used are very simple. Also the FMC Scarlett behaves often childish with sticking her tongue out and her retorts.

Ugh, the attraction without any build up just got too much

It's the first time I read a remake of the Elisabeth and Darcy theme.
I felt like thrown into the burlesque world, the first 20 pages were really confusing, it took me a while till I figured out what the people were talking about.
I like the sassy and witty dialogues though they didn't meet my type of humour.
The billionaire with problems in engaging socially with other people were a little cliché for me.
