Reading as method of processing the loss of my father as he progresses through dementia diagnosis. Not planning on reading quickly or consistently more so to pick up as needed. The way Didion describes grief is so visceral and relatable a much different reading experience than the white album and showcases the breadth of Didion’s talent to portray intricacies of the incomprehensible human experience of death
