Oh my gosh! okay, normally i wouldn’t really reach for a book like this. HOWEVER, one of my fav teachers made it so i absolutely had to read it! I’m so very proud of her (i love you Sisley), anyways Conner is literally me when I hear that they wanna take away my choir and that he needs that outlet. Same boy, i getchu. also love Bridget, she’s very nice and I wanna know why she only cooks for one.(Ch. 1-4)

Update 4/4: Last one for the night! !SPOILERS! If I had to write an essay on how much I hate Skye Hawthorne it would be a book. She is such an agitating character! But forget about her! Nash is such a loving character the way he cares for Libby before anything else makes my heart soar. They're so cute together. I have to go to sleep so I can find out in the morning if they find Toby and what happens! Goodnight!

Update 3/4: I skipped a bit. !SPOILERS! Max and Xander being besties is so funny! I had wondered what the compass on the frame meant and what poisoned Zara and Skye's relationship. All of it was over a boy? It makes me mad. Not surprised, why did Skye feel the need for all of this? Like be so fr rn. You already had a baby out of spite and you're going to burn another bridge with a baby? (Check my next update!)

Update 2/4: !SPOILERS! There is no way Avery and Grayson are going to stay friends. It's too much chemistry. SAME with Jameson. Seems like this Emily thing might happen again? Also, the way Grayson was only born to spite the Hawthorne name because his Nephew is dead makes so mad. UGH! But the cherry on top is how vulnerable Grayson is with Avery after everything *chef's kiss* (Check my next update!)

Update 1/4: Don't think people are going to see this but. Long time since an update. I had to put it down the book and write on sticky notes because I couldn't keep my thoughts inside. More updates are numbered lol. I will try to keep as vague as possible. The way they doubled up her security because she is being careless is like a good thing and a bad thing since we have to know the next clue!(Check my next update!)

FINISHED FINALLY AFTER MONTHS. I LOVE THIS BOOK SO MUCH. THE CHEMESTRY OH MANNNNNN. Jesus christ, I love this book and will defintely recommend this book til the day I die. I mean that. Thank you Alexa Martin.

OH, MY JESUS! Okay, I don't want to spoil it, but Drasper is so cute! Also, the fact that this man is like the best boyfriend in the History of boyfriends. That date.. I think Jasper was about to be killed.Also, did Elise know that he was looking so she was asking him so that he would tell her and that's why they came on the double date? I think I need an author as my boyfriend. I don't think any more should be said.

OH MY GOD!! THEY KISSED! It was so cute too! I cannot believe they are finally dating, It makes my heart so happy especially after they DID NOT KISS IN THE MOUNTAINS! Like are you kidding Alexa Martin? Also, she is a book lover now which is adorable since he's an author. I think I grow too attached to these characters sometimes. I want a love like theirs because it is so cute and I wonder where they will go next??

YES, IT FINALLY HAPPENED! A kiss, it was cute. I mean not the part where they were in her dead grandmas office kissing but like, how he just wanted her all of her. Even with her family and everything that went down with her dad. He still wanted every single bit of her. I wish and hope I can find love like that. A love where you could stand there and look at each other and do nothing but look at each other with love.

THE CHEMISTRY BETWEEN THESE TWO! It’s so unbearable. How can they be so cute? Also, her spilling her entire life story and then him being okay and wanting to still go out with her? SO CUTE! I need to actually look up the places she talks about and see why she likes them, but I can’t believe they like basically traded hobbies, I can’t with romance. I love them but at the same time I want to slam the book down

Okay, they’re going to dinner together! CuUtE!! I’m so happy for them, I really hope they get together. Considering how he is actually prefect and she is just a bundle of problems they work out to a tee. At least I hope so, I mean it’s supposed to be better than fiction? Haha, a little book title joke. Also, can we talk about how she is literally so pretty, like I would do anything to look like her. So pretty.

She has to grieve, being in survival mode for that long has to take a toll on her mental state Also, we got a new character his name is Jasper and I think he is the dude in the cover since there’s a little something there with them. I also can’t tell wether or not she’s going to cry in his arms and fall apart or she’s going to kiss him. It’s really making me mad that I cannot tell which she is going to do.

I think it’s funny how Beverly was so upset when Miss Martha wanted to move in because I felt like that too when my grandma wanted to move in. I love her in all but my grandma can be a lot. I found it to be relatable and just the chapter in general just made Beverly’s peace just disperse into the thin air. It was like as soon as he got some peace something or someone had to swoop in and take it away from him.

Okay, so is Miss Martha Jeffersons Wife? Or something? I don't understand. Also, I thought a slave and a slave were allowed to marry. I knew a white and a black person couldn't marry but I didn't know that part. Also, I know Beverly is like seven but can't he take a hint? When someone DOES NOT want to talk about something. DON'T TALK ABOUT IT!!! Also, playing for Jefferson I don't think he was actually listening.

It’s okay, hear me out. It’s very cliché, I love clichés but sometimes I wish there was a spice maybe I’m not there yet but it needs something. The whole I have daddy issues and a new sister who I don’t ever get along with, very much cliché. Wait, why wouldn’t she ask for the pendant and the ring from Gran? I get that she probably didn’t want to be greedy but she seemed a little upset that Daisy had it

Xander breaks into Toby's room trying to find the next clue, but they can't due to the lack of efficiency in Mr. Laughlin's brain Avery wakes up late and apparently, Mrs. Laughlin thinks that she's lying to everyone about Toby being alive. Oh and btw, SHE ISN'T THERE TO HELP YOU MRS. LAUGHLIN WHATER NAME THAT IS? "You should be ashamed of yourself," (44) NO YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF, SHE DIDN'T CHOOSE THIS!

So, we think this one girl did I don't know ARSON! but we're not sure. Then Xander, Thea, and Rebecca are planning something for a DEAD girl. Oh and let's not mention the comments at the bottom of her locker telling her to kill herself? Why is Grayson being overly touchy feely rn? It seems like he cares, but why would he? Also, are we just not going to mention that XANDER AND JAMESON WERE CARRING A SLEDGEHAMMER??

Ok, wait? Is just everyone in this elevator already dead? And the different floors are just different ghosts and he is just imagining it all? Cause that would be so cool. The only reason why I bring this up is that I read a book like it once and every time I read a book I think about it. Is this person a ghost? Cause it's doing some ghost-type of stuff. Also, who was choking him out? That part didn't make much sense.
