I was honestly so into this story until the author pulled the most ridiculous stunt. Out of nowhere, they start name-dropping plotlines from other books. The kicker? Nowhere on Libby, Goodreads, or description does it say this is part of a series! So here I am, accidentally reading book four, getting majorly spoiled for the first three books of a series I didn't even know existed. Make it make sense.

This narration is awful. She starts every phrase like it's a new exclamatory phrase.

The first 2 chapters were interesting but it seems to drag on. It's really interesting but also boring. (The chapters are between 1-2 hours each.) I'll probably dnf after chapter 5. And I hate to do that, but I think I'll have everything I need from this book after that.
