I was honestly so into this story until the author pulled the most ridiculous stunt. Out of nowhere, they start name-dropping plotlines from other books. The kicker? Nowhere on the cover or description does it say this is part of a series! So here I am, accidentally reading book four, getting majorly spoiled for the first three books of a series I didn't even know existed. Make it make sense.
