Finally watched "Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein," the last hurrah of the Universal Monster Cycle and the only one I had never seen. I enjoyed it... too bad it had Abbott and Costello in it, though.

Every character and scenario in this book is a stereotype, but it’s hilarious!

I’m watching the season finale of Pluribus — don’t worry, no spoilers — and the main character is reading The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula K. LeGuin!

I have the distinct impression that I'm not going to be satisfied with the ending of this book, nor the lack of answers.

To me it feels as if I’ve always been alone, even among all of you, because I’m so different.

I must be lacking in certain experiences that make a person fully human.

I wish I could read more of this tonight, but I'm too tired.

Also watched the first episode of Pluribus this weekend and I'm intrigued.

Oh, I understand that.

I think this story -- this history -- may break me.

I understand the mechanics of living, but lack the art of it.

The world has over 8 billion humans in it. I doubt much would be different if I weren’t of that number.

50 is not that old! Well, I guess it was back then… ugh. Now I feel old.

So, Tom Wilson had a point.

Wait… a truck from 1950 is more than 100 years old? When is this story set?
