OH MY GOD

I don’t know how this book is so highly rated, this guy is a massive misogynistic prick.

Okay I waited to check this book out from the library and told myself to give it the benefit of the doubt (even though I was pretty sure it didn’t deserve it). And I’m fully convinced this is published Hozier fanfic. Like there’s no room for doubt at all in any of her descriptions. This isn’t just that she used his likeness, she used his whole goddamn life, overly romanticized it, and published it. Gross.

This is so good, wild I put off reading it for so long

I really liked this first but honestly it should’ve been shorter.

I don’t know why I put off reading this for so long, it’s an absolute delight. I love the characters, and the setting and descriptions are so cozy and warm.

This is a very challenging read but it’s really grown on me.

Chapter 6 was a very poignant read with the ICE occupation in Minneapolis happening right now.

This book keeps going back and forth between pure smut and her taking care of the mmc’s kids and it’s really odd and uncomfy tbh

I still haven’t made a decision how I feel about this book. Really not a dark romance person but I’d say this is probably one of the better ones I’ve tried

3.75 stars, another classic Ali Hazelwood book that follows the template but still doesn’t miss. The male narrator was PHENOMENAL. And I request Victor’s story next please and thank you.
