This book keeps going back and forth between pure smut and her taking care of the mmc’s kids and it’s really odd and uncomfy tbh

I still haven’t made a decision how I feel about this book. Really not a dark romance person but I’d say this is probably one of the better ones I’ve tried

3.75 stars, another classic Ali Hazelwood book that follows the template but still doesn’t miss. The male narrator was PHENOMENAL. And I request Victor’s story next please and thank you.

Omg book club is next weekend and it totally snuck up on me, time to start the book 😬

Hadn’t read a historical in a little while and god I forgot how much I love the innocent forbidden touches like pinkies on a desk or a thumb across the cheek. The pining!!!!

Not to be a hater but Sarah MacLean stop using parenthesis on every page- challenge level: impossible

Loving it so far but authors really need to realize how often people actually use nicknames or names to address people to their face. He’s called her Lemon every other sentence this chapter. I cant remember the last time I addressed a friend by their name when I was already in a conversation with them. Please I’m begging authors to chill with the nicknames!!!

The initial hook of saving her on the kiss cam is real cute and was enough to get me to start reading but the rest of the story is struggling to keep me reading. Maybe I’m just tired of fake dating tropes being done so similarly? This just reminds me so much of the structure of Take A Hint, Dani Brown and so many fake dating books I’ve read since. I wanna like it but I’m tired, man.

Convinced Austin to listen to the audiobook with me before bed one chapter at a time, so jealous he gets to hear it for the first time. It’s so much fun to read a second time.

Omg this book is so good so far and I just found out there’s gonna be a movie in less than a year 🤩

Really enjoying this book but annoyed at the trend of books lately (three of the books I’ve read in the last month contained this) that feel like they have to say “every last feminist thought/bone/value leaves my body” when the mmc says something semi cocky about how he knows she likes him back or whatever. Like that’s not what feminism means girly 🤦🏻‍♀️

I’ll admit when I’m wrong and I’m pleasantly surprised with this book so far
