Let me get this straight. Dantes spent 14 years in prison, starving and “meditating”, and he came out looking like a Greek god?! And he also possessed “the aristocratic beauty of the man of the north” and “the rays of extreme intellect”? 💀 Sure, buddy. And I’m Batman. 🦇😀

You punched the dad of the kid who bullied your son? 😀 And then you went to the principal? 😀 Wow, I wonder how their son will survive the rest of the year.

Not much mystery as I expected

No!?! It’s filial piety, not trung thành. Ủa ai proof read cuốn này mà awkward phrases nhiều vậy? Mới nãy đọc câu tả “mặt tiếp tân trẻ đủ tuổi làm cháu tôi nhưng lại không có nét Tây” nó vừa thừa thãi vừa cringe 💀

Don’t get me wrong, reading a book mixing both languages that I can understand is wonderful. But isn’t it sometimes too much?

One of my pet peeves while reading thrillers is that it seems like people in there never lock their house?!? I mean, come on, how hard is it to turn a key?💀🔐

I have to drop everything just to read this book. I can’t believe the author was only 16 when he wrote it in 1996. The beginning sounds like a slow burn, so I was shocked when the narrator died in CHAPTER 1. From then on, it’s a journey to hide the corpse from two cold-blooded psychopaths who DIDN’T EVEN KILL HER. This book is crazier than I expected, because it is written from the perspective OF A CORPSE. What?!?

"Is he serious? That can't possibly be true. I would feel like a vampire drinking that stuff"

I mean, I like pomegranate juice and Spotify did tell me I'm a vampire based on their wrap up so maybe she's on to something =))

The protagonist (Faye) is like a combination of a delulu and a shoujo heroine. 💀
