Gorgeous writing, mysterious world, so far I'm really enjoying this fantasy.

With the Old Breed describes combat in ways I hadn't imagined before. Misery in mud and rain and hell. Great read.

All entertaining, I'm just distracted by Dragon Warrior 2 gameboy game and finishing will be slow.

This was an entertaining read - until I got to the social drama (instead of adventure). I'll never read this series again.

The first 100 pages have been quite fun to re-experience, but I have the feeling that things are about to get less interesting.
