Really nice winter short stories from Sweden. Although the one with the book was almost a horror story!

ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT

This is so much more fun than the first book. How is that possible? Things are moving. It has suspense. We get more of the other characters. I AM HOOKED!

Returning to Dream Harbor.

The first story (with Sherlock) was a lot of fun and incredibly familiar - it made me want to return to Sherlock. Now I'm in the middle of the second story and it's incredibly intriguing.

I wish there was more winter, I wish there was more cheer.

Overall it was fine, but alas the recipes are not particularly new and the lack of pictures in a cookbook is a no-no for me - you can find most of the recipes online, with pictures, and some I even wondered why they were in the book (prosciutto cantaloupe?)

The Nutcracker was surprisingly a lot more fun than the ballet, also darker. I quite liked it.

There are some poems that have little to do with winter and I just don't get it. But then again this is a republish of two books that were then split by season so...

HE'S THE GHOST OF CHRISTMAS PAST? I just started it and I love it.

At one point during the reading of a book one has to wonder if they are working more than the actual book to make the book be about something?

It bothers me that I don't care for anyone.

To DNF or not to DNF?

This is way more fun to do than I expected it to be - not sure why. I especially like to read the poems out loud. And I might be biased but today one of the poems was Poe's Raven so of course I was excited about it.

It's interesting so far, but can't say it's fully my cup of tea.

Good start. For some reason it fits with the weather.

The writing is rather simple and for now I'm not invested in any character.

This was all nice and fun until the initiation thing... Ugh, why couldn't this have been just a cosy read of monopoly playing and fucking? 😩 Why bring that weird initiation element into it...
