I really hate when there is singing in audiobooks

Resurrecting from the TBR graveyard because my work book club group loves this book. I’m intrigued again.

Saw this at the library and I’m intrigued (cue the part of me that studied Family Studies in undergrad). Mom and Dad if you’re reading this, we have a great relationship- don’t overthink the fact that I’m reading this book.

Wow this is dark so far

This audiobook narrator needs to be arrested for how awful he is

Deeply hating the narrators voice for Kipp (especially since I’ve stated the show and this just doesn’t match) but liking it aside from that. (Victoria from the plane and Johnna, if you’re reading this- I’ve started the show finally!)

Finished chapter two and buddy reading with Pat!

Am I going to start writing people letters because of how much I’m loving this? Maybe.

This book is bringing up all kinds of thoughts and feelings and I’m only two chapters in.

Okay so I’m not loving this but starting the year with a DNF feels like a bad vibe so I’m pushing through. But I already know I’ll stick to Deliah Dawson’s horror and not her fantasy satire

Feeling like I should have DNF’d this a while ago but now I’m committed. And can I finish it by end of day tomorrow? Time will tell.

Gavroche is surviving longer in this book than in the musical and it’s stressing me out because now I’m not sure what’s to become of him.

Eponine is hotter and poorer than when we last saw her and she’s still absolutely obsessed with Marius.

The source material for The Plumet Attack and I’m INVESTED

Somewhere before “in my life/a heart full of love” . We’re finally reintroduced to older Epoinne and the beginning of the yearning she has for Marius. And Marius is such a creep towards Cosette but in an endearing dumb lovable way.
