This is the first ‘pairing of books’ that I’ll be reading this year, the other is Klara and the Sun - both dealing with artificial life.

I can see already why this so highly recommended, it’s so sensitively written. To date its style is of children’s story and it kind of reminds me of the re-runs of Lassie I watched as a child where children and Lassie (the dog) could understand each other. There are hints that this tale could get darker, but time will tell. Happy New Year everyone 😊

A thriller which is reminiscent of movies like The Birds and Wicker Man set in a social environment a bit like the Great Gatsby.
