The whole “I hate him but am so sexually attracted I can’t help but harass him” isn’t my favourite trope

I feel like if a book has multiple POVs, readers should be given a warning ahead of time. This book is starting very differently from the single POV of the last and it’s jarring. Is this book about Odessa? Seems to centre around a new FMC, Caspia.

I hate these narrators. So theatrical…waaaaayyyy too emotive. Why is the female narrator sobbing throughout the whole chapter?! Why did the authors choose Lord Farquaad to narrate the male voice?
