I laughed twice already in the first 2min so I think that's a good sign ("She turned brown to match the color of the chair"). Jon Cryer, the narrator, is doing incredible work. I have high expectations for this lmao.

Nearly done with this book and (1) I'm still not sure who dunnit and (2) tired of how slow this is and how it will likely be revealed through one of Miss Marple's hunches. Sigh.

Truly scared when the author narrates the introduction, but thankfully Alfred Molina takes over and right now it's dreamy.

Richard E. Grant's narration is excellent but honestly sometimes terrifying lmao.

I don't much like Miss Marple as a character but so far this is very fun, Griselda is wonderful, and things are moving along quite briskly!

Very interesting and fun so far with momentum! Joan Hickson also seems energized in her reading haha, pulling off a number of distinct voices. Maybe it's the village vibe?

Attempt no. 2, this time with Joan Hickson as narrator rather than Emilia Fox whose shrill and grating voice rather left me in shock. Hickson is incredibly old-sounding, she does not try to do any voices or accents (everyone just sounds like an old lady haha), and regularly one hears a sharp intake of breath and accumulation of saliva that must be whisked away hahaha. So arch! It's been enjoyable so far LOL.

Almost every single man in this story is insufferable lol
