Oof. I don’t think I’ve cringed this much in the first 50 pages of a book in a long time

Not to say that this one is bad, but it definitely feels like it’s missing some of the charm from the first one and that’s a little disheartening tbh

Not to be dramatic or anything…but I would actually die for Arthur, Linus and the Marsyas children

Everything about this book is so comforting in a wrapped up by the fire with a warm cup of tea and a kiss on the forehead kind of way

I fear I’ve lost the plot almost entirely…what is the plot here??

The fact that Calvin was only in this for 100 pages is criminal

If Elwood makes one more comment about being a sinner or being damned because he made a decisions or did something I will LOOSE MY MIND

I am both enjoying this and finding it tremendously hard to digest…just give me back my silly little romance infused fantasies like Enchantment and Sorcery of Thorns :(

You know it’s bad when you’re expecting the revenant and Artemisia to fall in love 😭
