Jack Torrence is one of the best written Stephen King characters, You want to sympathize with him completely but theres just this rotten piece of him that you arent sure if its an inner torment as much as a rotten soul. His entire being is a dichotomy He loves his family so much and he hates himself just as much

this should be a very boring book, we are living with her nearly moment to moment and her routine is so repetitive, and her inner world is not any more exciting. Her pondering is interesting. Im still enjoying it but truly nothing has really HAPPENED if that makes sense

they should call this book everything you love and come to love dies.
