This book is so fucking lazy

What is with this stupid trope of aristocratic women going places - like BROTHELS - with very little pretense and thoughts about the consequences? I guess it’s supposed to make them look adventurous and independent but it just makes the whole thing feel fake and makes the heroine look like an idiot.

This was not an easy book to get my hands on!

Apparently Annabelle had to be a jerk so this book could be 350 pages instead of 300.
